INNOCENTS I wrote at the suggestion of my former manager. He thought a television drama format would lend itself to my kind of fourth wall breaking style. At first I was resistant, just because at the time I knew every little about writing for television. But I came up with a group of characters that I really liked and this actually turned out to be one of the easiest processes I've had. I decided that it would be cool if the action for the whole series was driven out of the things that happened in the pilot. Which was great, because it meant there was a whole lot of drama to cram into the first sixty pages.
